When I participated in the [ free bird ] Tour of Homes last fall, I wanted to find a special way to welcome each person who visited my parcel. I began work on a sign that said, "All peaceful hearts welcome here," in the most common languages of the world. I used Google translator, but found out it was not as accurate as I would have liked. I still would love a sign that welcomes folks to my land in their native language. Perhaps a sign where I could switch out the placards. I sent you an image of what I worked on, but again, the verbiage is translated by Google. But I would love to see a finished product and would be happy to do more research on it. Mine is a plain black and white sign, and I know in your hands it could be so much more. We're such a welcoming group...I hope others would enjoy an opportunity to provide a warm greeting to folks from all over the world to their parcel. (Maybe even Klingons and Romulans or vampires too.)
I added a Poll to this, to see if people would enjoy this as well. Please also feel free to comment on what languages (real or fictional) you would like to see. I know for me, I'd like to see it in Sign Language as well.

All different languages would be a lot, but basic ones with a few other ones like elvish or klingon or something, or if there was a way to type in a phrase and have it show up on the board would be cool too, but a bit of scripting with for it to work, but it is a cool idea

I like this idea too! For Christmas I make up a Christmas card from the music venue and my staff that says Merry Christmas in as many languages as I could find since we have members from all over the world. So YES I really love the idea of a welcome sign in different languages - maybe it could be shortened to just Peaceful Hearts Welcome if that would help the translation be more accurate.
